How Embarrassing!

And you know that your pet is going to invite herself to the festivities one way or another. So you decide to bow to the inevitable, and allow her to stay in the vicinity, and hope that she does not draw undue attention with her gas. Imagine, just when the party is in full swing, everything stops dead and people are holding their noses. Your pet has really introduced herself into the center of attention. Some may not realize as they tease each other and blaming it on the dog, it really is the truth! But you know that the it is true, the dog did it. Can you avoid it? Yes, you can by giving this product to your pet.

There are other situations that your pet will embarrass you.

Taking your pet to a friends house for a play-date with their pet. While they are interacting in the house, a lethal gas bomb drifts though the air. You can find yourself wanting to disappear from embarrassment as you see that your pooch’s fart has almost made your friend pass out.

Odor free pet farts - all kind of small animals like a cat, dog, hamster, turtle, rabbit and miniature pig

Including your pet on the next family vacation. You are having a great road trip, the kids are not fussing too much in the back. But then it goes totally silent, and you realize that your Pet has ambushed their noses with a horrible stink. You must now roll down for the next one hundred miles, or they will complain that they are dying from the stink

Perhaps your furry best friend is a therapy/companion animal that visits in retirement homes or hospitals. Things are going very well as he brings comfort and happiness to those in need, it happens. Those you came to comfort are begging for gas masks, because of the lethal smell of the gas attack. And the administrators are asking you politely to leave and take the offender with you

And sometimes just being alone with your wonderful pet in the outdoors does not help. The stink from the butt just seems to stick to and follow your friend around the neighborhood. So you decide that must do something about this problem.

What Makes the Odor So Bad?

On a more serious note, there are many reasons that a dog (or cat) can have such smelly gas. Tracing the reasons can be simply looking at the diet of your pet.

  • Fiber: If your pet has too much fiber in the diet, gas is going to happen. Just like us when we have a high fiber diet or use psyllium products too much.
  • Spices: If you feel that you absolutely must feed your pet from the table, first you must learn what is bad for them. Human food must be very bland, and not have any spices.
  • Lactose: While on the subject of giving your pet food that will cause gas, dairy products are a no-no. Cats and dogs are lactose intolerant, and unable to to digest them. Not only does it produce smelly farts, it makes them extremely uncomfortable until the gas is let out.
  • Fat: A high fat diet is hard on an animal. It is bad for us, and worse for them. And it will cause more and smellier farts that can be avoided.
  • Anything else that is hard to digest: We get the side effects of gas when we eat hard to digest foods, so it stands to reason that our furry friends will have the same reaction.
  • Making a sudden change in food: When you are trying to change what your pet eats every day, make the change slowly. Mixing the foods and gradually changing the proportions of each will help your pet to not have a lethal bum.

There are many things that you can do to help your pet be stink-free. And many of them are simply related to how and what you feed them. However, smelly farts can also indicate an underlying health problem, so if a change of diet does not work, take your pet to the vet for a checkup.
